The Nortel ERS 4550T-PWR provides the resiliency, security and convergence-readiness required by application-driven and constantly changing enterprise networks.
With 48 10/100 plus 2 10/100/1000 or SFP ports, the ERS 4550T-PWR delivers flexible Ethernet switching with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support for simplified network deployments - helping to drive lower total cost of ownership.

Advances security capabilities enable the ERS4500 switches to provide multi-layered network defence. Security applications such as DHCPsnooping, ARP Inspection and BPDU filtering enable the switches to protect the network against malicious network attacks. Advanced security capabilities enable end user device health assessment, quarantine and remediation through the use of Nortel Secure Network Access.
